Where was I when the Bridge collapsed? A question I was peppered with all week on my recent trip to Texas. The answer is that I was in the airport preparing to board an airplane for said trip when the I-35W bridge over the Mississippi fell to its death. As I type this, CNN has just updated the "bodies recovered from the river" count to 7. I'm uncertain if that's 7 plus the 4 confirmed dead or inclusive.
I have not seen the collapse in person yet. I'll let you know when I do.
