100 EARTHLINGS
If we could shrink the earth’s population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all existing human ratios remaining the same, the village would look something like this:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
8 Africans
52 females
48 males
70 nonwhite
30 white
70 non-Christian
30 Christian
89 heterosexual
11 homosexual
6 people would possess 59 percent of the world’s wealth;
all 6 would be from the United States
14 from the Western Hemisphere, both North and South
70 would be illiterate
50 would suffer from malnutrition
80 would live in substandard housing
1 would be near death;
1 would be near birth
1 would have a college education
1 would own a computer

Where do you come up with this stuff? Are these numbers just random or did you do the research? If research, just how much time DO you have on your hands?
Hope you are doing well
Linda
